Granger would do well in a fenced in yard (doesn’t have to be large, even a small space dedicated to his zoomies would be great!). He is the goofball who does his best to please (especially if there’s peanut butter involved). He has been on the path to more consistent good boy behaviors with trainers.Granger is working on not jumping and on controlling his excitability, so his ideal home would be with considerate kids who aren’t intimidated by his size, and folks who have had previous experience with dogs. Supervised play with other dogs would be a must since he’s still learning correct pup socialization. Granger knows sit, stay, lie down, shake, sit pretty, and roll over. He is a pretty quick learner as long as there are plenty of treats around! While he doesn’t typically chew on anything that isn’t a toy, he does occasionally chew and tear at blankets he lies on. It’s not unusual for him to “pibble” or “corn cob” on our clothes when he wants to cuddle with us after a long day. Granger loves using his nose to sniff out his food (we hide his kibble in old towels, he loves it!) and will happily occupy himself with a frozen treat or a nap, but he would love a dog friend to play with so he wouldn’t get bored throughout the day. Age: 2 years. Weight: 53 lbs Temperament:. Good with older considerate kids, some dogs his size and energy level, not cat tested. Vetting: Neutered, up to date on vaccines, HW negative and on prevention. Training: Crate-trained, house trained, knows several commands.
