Lainey1 yr old50 lbsHusky Mix House trained♥ Doing well with crate training Gorgeous eyes♥ Dog friendly (with proper introduction) Super smart♥ Very affectionate This striking beauty was so happy to get her freedom ride up north last weekend. She immediately stole her foster parents' hearts with her piercing blue eyes and smiling face. Lainey can be shy and timid at first but after a slow approach she quickly becomes very affectionate. She loves nothing more than receiving pets from her humans. It is so easy to find her "happy spot", almost any chest rubs will get her back foot thumping the ground in elation. Lainey gets along great with her foster brother, playing with him in the backyard, sharing toys and water and even giving him kisses. She can sometimes to be reactive to dogs while walking on a leash but her foster mom is confident with some further training, she will learn to ignore passing dogs more each day. Speaking of training, this gal is very smart! She sits for her treats and her meals and she is already working on stay and down. Lainey loves her humans so much that she is still working on remaining calm when they leave her. She will need some patience to work through this, but she is already improving. She is doing well with crate training and walks in without any issues. She does take a little bit of time to settle, but it's not long before she snoozes through the night. Lainey is housetrained and hasn't shown many destructive tendencies. She has carried her foster parents' shoes to her bed to snuggle with but hasn't chewed them up. Her foster family loves when she prances about and curls her lips into a smile to greet her humans in the morning. Her current foster home has no kids or cats but we've been told she does well with both.
