Meet Scylla, a 1.5-year-old female Domestic Shorthair.Scylla was surrendered to the adoption center after having kittens. Apparently she became a bit too protective of her kittens with previous owners pets, normal mamma behavior. They did say that she is very friendly normally and got along well with the previous pets before her babies. Scylla is very talkative. She has lived with other animals and was also great with kids. Scylla is litter box trained and ready for her forever home. When she arrived she did have a large open sore on her face. She is being cared for and healing well. She has already been spayed and can go home today. If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday.
