Rochester Animal Control picked me up from a hoarding situation and brought me to Paws and Claws. At 24 pounds, I am extremely overweight and need to be on a weight loss plan. I may also need some help with grooming until I lose enough weight to groom myself better. I was nervous upon arrival about being in a new place. I felt more at ease once someone spoke calmly, and I felt safe. I purr loudly, and I don't hesitate to use my voice. Playing releases some of my tension and boredom - and it burns calories! Besides, it's fun! I'm a sweet, lovable girl who deserves a home with someone who will work with a veterinarian to ensure that I follow an appropriate weight loss plan, including proper nutrition and a slow, steady weight loss with regular medical monitoring.
