Chicago is a medium-sized, sweet-natured dog who was found at a truck stop in Chicago, IL, all alone and scared. A truck driver found her and had been unsure how long she had been there, but didn't want to just leave her there to fend for herself. Chicago was brought to our shelter to begin her journey to finding her forever home began.At first, Chicago was very shy and timid. But as time has gone on, she has begun to trust the kind people who were taking care of her. With patience and love, Chicago slowly started to come out of her shell. She began to wag her tail when our staff came to her kennel - the start of showing her more playful side to those she trusted. Chicago needs a patient family who is committed to love and care for her forever. Despite her rough start in life, Chicago has proven to be a resilient and loving dog.
