Hello! My name is Ninya and I am a spunky 54lb, 4yr old beagle, hound, & lab mix. I came to the shelter as a stray. It`s ruff being at the shelter for almost 100 days, but I`m still a fun-loving girl who enjoys playing with toys, zoomies, and leaning in for snuggles. I`ve perfected my head tilt which I use to get lotsa treats. I also know sit and shake. If you`re looking for a friend to make you smile everyday, I`m definitely your girl! The staff here describe me as `super friendly and sweet`, and I have to agree because I love to lean in to get pets and scratches. I enjoy going on walks to explore the great outdoors and sniff all the different smells. It is unknown how I will do with other dogs, cats or children, but slow introductions are always best for me to learn others. I am guaranteed to make you smile! *Please apply on our website at indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet. *Click on the adoption application link, enter your information, and click submit. You can include multiple pets that you are interested in on one application. *Once you have submitted your adoption application, please visit the shelter to speak with one of our Adoption Counselors, who will assist you with meeting some of our animals. *We offer a Cuddle before you Commit program where you can foster an animal for 2 weeks, slowly introduce it to the rest of your animals and family, and then finalize your decision.
