This animal is currently waiting to be spayed/neutered. We are taking applications and appointments! Their spay/neuter is scheduled for 3/20/2024, and they will be ready to go home on 3/21/2024.This affectionate young man cannot wait to find his forever home! Douglas is a sweet, playful, talkative boy who loves everybody he comes across. He has quickly become a fan favorite, and he has won over the hearts of our volunteers and staff very fast. Douglas loves people of all ages and would do great with any family. Douglas is working on his manners, and he does know most of his basic commands. But, he still does need some reminders that not everyone wants a hug. Douglas loves to be outside and play. His current favorite game is fetch. Douglas would do best with lots of room to play so he can get all his energy out. We are unsure if he has met a cat before, so we do recommend a slow introduction. Douglas seems to love other dogs, but we do suggest a meet and greet so we can make sure it's the perfect fit! This cuddly big boy is very ready to meet his new forever family!Every animal adopted from the Humane Society of Northwest Montana has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and administered age-appropriate vaccinations.If you have any questions or would like to adopt Douglas, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
