Jayden is a two-year-old, 45-pound shepherd mix rescued during the cold snap in January. She was tied out on a property, and a good Samaritan feeding her when the owners were gone discovered a new litter of puppies in the plastic igloo in the yard. Knowing the puppies would freeze that night, she offered to buy the mom and puppies from the owner and then took them back to her house. We took her shortly after that, and they have all done well. Jayden took a few days to settle in and trust that she was safe, but she has come a long way. She is sweet and friendly with people and pets, housetrained and crate-trained, very treat-motivated, and easy to train. We are so excited to see what the future holds for Jayden.
