Our vets believe she is experiencing femoral neuropathy on her right side, meaning that she has lost function or sensation in her hind leg due to damage of the femoral nerve. This is likely painless, however potential adopters should be prepared to monitor her for any discomfort and make sure over time she is able to use her leg normally and not dragging it. If adopters observe overgrooming in hind leg area, or sees that she is unable to use it, she will need a reassessment at a private vet.
