SOCKS Foster Scarlet is starting to get the hang of living in a home after living outside in a kennel 6.5 yrs. She is a purebred English Cocker Spaniel. Her coloring is a deep red and just gorgeous! She is starting to warm up but there are a lot of new things she's afraid of but that will come with time and patience. Foster mom Louise is working on potty training. Scarlet hasn't discovered toys yet but she does carry the blue cat sweater everywhere. She really wants to please but doesn't know exactly how to do that but she's a smart girl and will figure it out. With time she's going to be a phenomenal companion. SOCKS adopts to families in Florida, Georgia, Southern Alabama and southeastern Mississippi. If you are out of the state of Florida you would need to travel to Florida to complete your adoption. Please note that we do check vet references and your current pets must be up to date on vaccinations, Heartworm testing and be able to provide proof of purchase of HW prevention. All dogs and cats in your home must be spayed or neutered. We will not set up a meet and greet until your application has been received, reviewed and approved. Adoptions are not done on a first come first served basis. We will accept applications and then screen all and choose the best match.
