Gabby is a soft, super-friendly young female kitty who wants to be your new BFF (Best Friend Forever). She is the epitome of “I love all humans and want to snuggle and have them love me back.” She will curl up in bed with her (unless you tell her “no”, and she DOES understand the “no” word) and cuddle like a soft, warm, pliable water bottle. Except she wants to love on you, and will remind you to give her an occasional head scratch by softly and briefly licking your arm, leg, or face. She is one of the smartest cats we’ve ever fostered and offered for adoption. She is quick to learn and knows several words and phrases, such as “no” and “get down” (when she explores a counter top, for example). She loves to play with toys, other kitties, and robo vacs. As mentioned above, she loves to cuddle – in bed, wherever you allow. So beware… If you sit down, she will soon be in your lap or snuggle beside you, with her purring machine in high gear, and perhaps some kneading (“biscuit making”) too, very softly, very gently. She is tolerant of being given pills if necessary, and takes them grudgingly but does fight and scratch. Gabby's coat pattern is unusual - it is a mixture of classic tabby (swirls rather than stripes) of a muted gray color, and cream-colored calico. At first she appears to be a tabby, but look closer and you'll see element of calico (no orange - only a creamy white-tan). Her fur is very soft. Gabby gets along with other kitties and tries to play with other kitties in this household as well, and when they get tired of her advances and hiss to say “leave me alone for awhile, please”, she gets it and goes off to play by herself, making toys out of anything (paper towels, knick-nacks, etc.) She is in prime health, and is up to date will all of her vaccinations, including FeLV, and is wormed and flea-less. She is so healthy that after her spay she was up and playing within hours, not fazed at all by the surgery. Gabby was found as a single deserted 3-week old kitten by on Morningside Drive, by Conway Animal Welfare, who transferred her for bottle feeding to the current foster who lives in Conway. Gabby is a very special kitty, and the person who adopts her will be immensely blessed with one of the most human-oriented, kind, healthiest, and intelligent kitties on the planet.
