Maple came to us from a reptile rescuer in Wisconsin who took in a group of 15 cohabitated hamsters. He is happy to have his own enclosure and not have to share anymore! We do not know his age but estimate 8-12 months based on behavior and appearance. He could be older or younger. Maple is a sweet guy who enjoys treats but isn't quite sure about taking them from people yet. He is usually awake around 9pm and doesn't mind being picked up. He does well in a playpen for interactions and exploring. He would be a good fit for beginner or experienced hamster owners. We can meet within 1 hour of Minneapolis or Faribault MN for adoptions.
