**Currently fostered in Kenmore, WA and ready for meet and greets!** This little nugget is Dixxon Waller. He is currently 22 lbs and 4 months old, and we think he may be a pittie/boxer mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! He is doing great in his foster home and with his foster doggy sister. His foster says: "He’s a very special little guy with a sweet personality and calm temperament, he will be an amazing big boy when he grows up for whoever is lucky enough to adopt him." Dixxon is very food motivated so it has been easy to teach him to sit and about leash awareness during mini-walks. He’s a very observant and smart boy and catches on quickly. He is making great strides with potty training and only has an occasional accident, but he’s picking it up so fast! Crate training has been easy with him too, he sleeps through the night and takes almost all of his naps in it. Dixxon is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. This little cutie is an incredibly sweet boy and will gladly use his foster pawrent as a bed to nap on or curl up next to and use as a pillow. He is absolutely adorable with his one blue and one brown eye, and his gorgeous white and brindle coloring. He is sure to get lots of attention when he's out and about! Dixxon is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate poop train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $800 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations.
