Lucy girl! This lovely lady was brought to TCR when her previous owner could no longer care for her. Lucy was *not* a happy camper when she first arrived, but after adjusting for a few days, she calmed down and realized we weren't so bad. Lucy now enjoys attentions and pets, and she loves to be a part of the action, although she would do best with an adoptive family who can understand that it may take her a little time to adjust to her new home at first. Lucy is currently being fostered with one of the kitties that she was surrendered with (Agatha), and although they get along for the most part, they do not have to be adopted together. Lucy may be able to live with another cat, with a proper introduction period, although she is a bit wary of making new friends at first. She has not lived with a dog. Lucy would likely do fine with older, respectful kiddos, but very small kids may be a little much for her. Lucy does appear to have a mild food allergy which causes some overgrooming issues; however, it is being successfully managed with the Purina Sensitive Stomach formula of cat food. Lucy is estimated to be about three years old. She has been spayed, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested FIV/FeLV-.
