Lance is a 4 year old Jack Russell mix and weighs less than twelve pounds. Calm and quiet, he prefers to take things slow when meeting new people. This shy little pup would do well in a home with adults only. He gets along with other dogs that respect his space. He enjoys playing in the yard at the shelter. A home with a fenced in backyard would be ideal to keep him safe when outside. Lance is fully vetted and ready to spend the best years of his life with you. Due to the high volume of applications received, our Adoption Coordinator will only contact the applicant that best meets the needs of the pet.Adoption processTour/Adoption Hours: Fridays: 3pm – 5pmSaturdays: 11am – 2pm During adoption hours we have volunteers available to show dogs and cats to the public. For safety/insurance reasons we can only allow those 12 years or older to go into the dog kennel wing of the shelter. We ask all visitors not to stick their fingers/hands into the dog kennels. Our adoptable dogs and cats are viewable through our website. Everyone interested in applying for a dog or cat must submit an application through our website. We receive multiple applications for each animal. Applications for particular animals are based on best fit for each animal based on each animal’s behaviors and needs. An application not being selected for a particular animal does not necessarily mean the application was denied, but just that another application was approved.
