Maisie is a 1 year old and 7 pound cat looking for her forever home. This retired mama is looking for a quiet home where she can relax and get all the loving!Here is what her foster mom said about her: "Maisie bloomed into an affectionate and sweet cat once away from the stress of the shelter, so if she seems scared at first its temporary. She loves attention, lots of petting and good scratching, and even is content to be held as long as you keep giving her attention She especially likes being cradled when held. She goes bonkers for fluffy pom poms and feather wand toys. She got along well with the resident cats, occasionally playing with them. "I lived with cats in my previous home and may do well with yours with a proper introduction. I lived with dogs in my foster home, but would hide from them and avoid them. I would like to be in a home without dogs or in a home with a very calm mellow dog that will leave me alone. I lived with children in my foster home but was hesitant about them. I would likely do best with older children and up.If you are interested in this specific animal, please come to the shelter for walk-in adoptions Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30am to 5:30pm.
