The name Lamont sounds like an old movie character, doesn’t it? Kind of mysterious. Well, there’s nothing old or mysterious about our Lamont. Nope! Around 5 months old, he weighs 35-40 pounds and will probably grow to be a big boy weighing 70-80 pounds, a weight not at all surprising for a mix of Lab and Collie. That he gets along well with other dogs, kids and his foster’s cat isn’t unexpected either. He wears a medium coat of black interrupted here and there by a dab of white, and his soulful eyes seek your attention and keep it. Perhaps he is out of an old black and white film of yesteryear, with his simmering eyes and his classic good looks.
