Introducing: Jamo (aka “Jameson”)! This sweet boy joined the New Leash family with his 4 siblings this past week, and is estimated right around 6 months old. Jamo and his siblings were rescued by a kind soul from an Amish farm…where they were not in a good living situation. They were all quite scared, but have quickly settled into their foster homes and begun living the lives they always deserved to live — full of love, warmth, and spoils! Jamo is a blue heeler mix of sorts; he currently weighs-in @ 35lbs, so could be right around 60(ish)lbs when fully grown. This boy’s foster family says he has caught on so very quickly to training, good habits, and just being comfortable + trusting! He really is one of the sweetest pups you’ll ever meet! Jameson does well with other dogs, and has really started to play with the resident dogs in his foster home. His favorite toy is a tennis ball, and is learning all about his love of fetch! He always wants to be where his humans are, and will snuggle up right next to you for hours on end. Jamo is picking up potty-training like a champ. Other than the first night, he has had no accidents! And although he’d rather be cuddled up next to his people, he’s adapting to kenneling at nighttime; he has started to settle in after no time at all. He loves belly scratches, will smile big for head scratches, and is just absolutely adorable through and through! After a rough beginning to life, he has come so far in just a short time…and it’s safe to say he’s now ready for a family he’s able to call his own.
