Information: Shalom was surrendered to the shelter after his owner could no longer have him where they lived. He is a super sweet boy who could stand to lose some weight. His previous owners stated that he is a lazy couch potato who is friendly and easy going. He has been an indoor dog only and will need a family who is willing to have him indoors with them. He is use to sleeping in a bed and doesn't need to be crated when left home, although due to a new environment for him, we would recommend some kind of confinement while he adjusts for a couple weeks. Shalom does know several basic commands and is all around a good boy. Shalom does seem to have some weakness in his backend that would benefit from him being started on joint supplement. If he could lose a few pounds that would also help longevity of the hips and knees. The shelter provides a 5-day health guarantee for adopted animals. This includes health conditions not present or known about by the shelter at the of adoption, which adopter becomes aware of within 5 days. Injuries or accidents that occur at the adopter's home are not covered. The shelter is not responsible for incurred costs from local veterinarians due to non-compliance. ALL adoptions are final! Animals can be returned to the shelter for any reason, however, there are NO refunds or exchanges.If you have any questions or would like to adopt Shalom, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
