This goofy oversized (self-proclaimed) lap dog will cuddle you to your heart's desire. But Hashbrown does have an energetic side that will come out any time you take him on walks or even for a drive in the car. He gets along with our dog Nova great and often follows her lead when moving around our apartment or out walking through the neighborhood. He's been settling in nicely and learning cues quickly. Hashbrown is a fun energetic dog who just wants a big space to play. Our dog Nova is much smaller than him but he understands how big he is and plays accordingly and it is just about the cutest thing. He's a cuddly snorer and loves to be close to you. Hashbrown has really broken out of his shell and it's amazing to learn more and more about him as the days go on. He knows when to play and when to relax. He is all around the best guy!He is house trained and knows the commands "Sit" and "Down" which make it easy for him to transition to a new home. He gets along with our dog amazing and often follows her lead when in the house or out on walks. He's been selective towards other dogs but seems friendly the majority of the time indicating that he just wants to play. Hashbrown seems to think he's a lap dog so you'd better enjoy cuddling up with him as much as he does with you. He's a very smart and lovable dog and deserves a home with the space to roam around and also snuggle up for a good nap. Before going into foster, Hashbrown had a Dog Day Out! Here's what our volunteer had to say about him!: Had the amazing opportunity to take Hashbrown on my first ever Dog's Day Out! I couldn't rave about this animal more. He is a GENTLE giant, so polite and playful. He's very curious and intelligent. He knows sit, lay down, and learned roll over after three times of trying. I am rooting for this smiley boy to get a home. He walked past children and seem eager to play with them. He never barked or whined the entire three hours I had him. Hashbrown loved peering from the patio yet never barked at oncoming cars or dogs. Hashbrown is so gentle and curious and the best way I could describe him is a "big baby". He gets so excited and rolls around on the couch, but also likes to chill next to you. He learns so quickly and follows your lead. Hashbrown seems eager to play with all different types of people after walking him in public areas.Hashbrown is living in a foster home.
