Little Man was an owner surrender. His owner could no longer care for him in the way Little Man needed. Little Man wants to be present at all times. As long as he can see you, he is happy. He will follow you around the house. He loves snuggling in bed at night and curls up into the littlest ball right next to you. He is great with cats and dogs. Little Man has some back issues and a heart issue. Both require medication. These medications are low cost and the first month of medication will be provided to his adopter to give them enough time to establish a vet and set an appointment. He comes neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, on current flea & heart worm prevention, heartworm negative, and microchipped. We do not recommend households with small children due to his back issue. LITTLE MAN CANNOT JUMP OFF FURNITURE!!!! He has to be carried off or needs a ramp/stairs. He is housetrained, but has a small bladder. We pick him up from our bed and set him outside in the morning. He goes potty right away. He will not use the restroom in the bed. Little Man is co-dependent. An adopter who works from home or is retired is ideal.For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. Mississippi is overpopulated too many animals, not enough homes, and many high kill shelters. For Pet's Sake Rescue saves each animal from a different background.***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not DNA/Breed test. We discuss breed assignments with our vets to label them as accurately as possible***For Pet's Sake Rescue transports animals to other states with better adoption potential. Our goal is to keep animals alive and out of kennels into their forever homes as quickly as possible. Each animal is quarantined and vetted during their time in our care. Each adopted pet is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and has current flea treatment unless otherwise noted. Once we review your application and check your vet reference, we will contact you to proceed. If both parties agree to the adoption, we will send you an Adoption Contract with an invoice. Once the invoice is paid, your pet is "on hold" for you to pick up or we can transport the pet to you during a scheduled transport. Transports are arranged for specific dates. We will discuss these dates and locations with you during the initial phone call. We are currently unable to adopt pets to MA and RI residents.
