Raksha and her baby, Mowgli, were found outside on an exceptionally hot day this summer. Although initially shy, she has blossomed into a very confident girl who enjoys time with her foster family, allowing them to pick her up and often wanting frequent back scratches. She craves affection and makes little biscuits and gives head bumps to show her love. Raksha is very playful and curious about toys. She is very patient with Mowgli, her wild boy, who she would love to find her forever home with so they can always be together. She has warmed up to the dogs in her foster home and enjoys spending time watching them play, even following them into another room so she doesn’t miss out on the action. Adoption fair days are a stressful time for some kitties, with so many noises, smells, and movement. Raksha’s personality shines through best in less stressful environments and she would love to meet you in her foster home so you can see how truly wonderful she is. Given her personality, we believe she would do well with other cats, children, and cat-friendly dogs if allowed time for an introduction. The adoption fee includes her spay surgery, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, and group testing for FIV and FeLV.
