Brock, American Pit Bull Terrier For Adoption In Rosharon, Texas

Price:
$750
Location:
Rosharon, TX
Description:

A boy who has a good face, loves the outdoors, is athletic and confident… he is a dog, so you can’t marry him or set him up with your friend but you can absolutely be his forever!I don’t want to make it weird but this one is a keeper! I’ll let you watch him in action, you will see it- he is so handsome and easy to enjoy! Brock is his name, he weighs a perfect 55 lbs, is estimated to be about 2 years old and we believe he is some kind of pit bull/lab mix. With rescue breed and age leave us guessing at best but watch him chase a ball and tell me there isn’t a little lab in that good boy! He is quiet and his size is within most size restrictions for apartment life but his love of a ball chase would be best suited for a home with a yard. As for other pets, Brock gets along with other dogs but he would be absolutely content to be your one and only. After spending an afternoon with him I will confirm, he has the personality, playfulness, and adoration to absolutely fulfill you as a dog owner. This boy is the complete package! So basically, apartment is a maybe, home with a yard is a yes, other pets are not needed, solo dog life is a yes please! Brock is kid friendly and a whole lot of fun as a playmate so it would be great to see him with a family that has older kids, 10+ who can handle the excitement of his play without getting knocked over. I don’t want to be repetitive but Brock would also be a great “bachelor.” As for cats, he was a gentleman when he met our house cat Tom, who we consider an avoidant cat, basically one who is not going to seek out the affection or connection of a dog. Putting him into a home with a friendly cat would take time and slow-introductions to ensure he could maintain his feline-friend manners. Another lovable little thing about Brock is that no matter how excited he is about play or ball, he keeps a soft mouth. No over excited mouthy boy here, whether it is a treat in your hand or the ball he desperately wants you to throw, he keeps it gentle! I love that and can tell you is not always the case so consider that a preloaded skill worth its weight in treats! So Brock is a potential bachelor boy, athletic, handsome, has a gentle mouth, adoring eyes and is available! He is ready for suburban family life or to warm up the bachelor pad. If you have any questions about Brock or would like us to test him for a specific setting or detail, please be in touch! We can make most anything happen to ensure he is the correct fit for you and your life! Please email : XXXX@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
