Meet Pearl Holler! Pearl is the sweetest and nearly perfect little miniature schnauzer, in our opinion, anyway! Pearl is about three or four years old and about 14 pounds. She came to us from a backyard breeder who had dogs seized by the shelter due to cruelty. Unfortunately, several of these dogs came to us with heart, murmurs, and Pearl is one of them. She had seven beautiful puppies and raised them all absolutely perfectly. And now it’s time for Pearl to find her own home. She is working on her leash training, but she will need lots of practice to make that fun for walks. She does perfectly with Potty Pads and is crate trained, but crates definitely are not her favorite place to be. She is relaxed and calm around the house, and she enjoys all her doggy friends, as well as the cats, and loves children as well. Because of her heart murmur, Pearl had complete bloodwork and everything looked good. She also has a dental cleaning and her teeth look perfect. We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
