Puma came to us after he was severely abused by his owners. Neighbors witnessed them kicking and beating him on multiple occasions. The neighbors asked them if they could have him and they just handed him over. That's when he was then surrendered to us. He had several severe fractures on both legs and his hip, one of which required FHO surgery. Unfortunately that surgery was performed on the wrong leg, accidentally. The leg the surgery was performed on never regained mobility and then had to have it amputated. His bad leg that needed the FHO surgery ended up healing on its own. Regardless of his rough start in life, Puma has been the sweetest boy! He has such an affectionate and loving demeanor. He just wants all the love. He's great with other dogs, kids and has been non-reactive to the cats in his foster home. He's going to make someone an incredible companion and truly deserves the best!
