Hi, my name is Duncan, I`m approximately 2 years old and currently weigh 60#. I came to Macomb County Animal Control as a stray and was never reclaimed by my previous owner. Terrible, right? Well, now I am now in search of my furever home, could it be with you?Since being here, the staff and volunteers have said what a good boy I am, I walk nicely on the leash, but I will pull a bit if I see a friend approaching, so I would do better with a harness lead. I am quiet in my kennel and prefer to take my `business` outside. I enjoy playing with toys and my other 4 legged friends here. I am hoping my new family will take me on daily walks and provide me with a nice bed of my own (or, if you don`t mind, I`d like to share yours, I promise to keep you warm on those cold Michigan winter nights!), and lots of new adventures!I should be fine in a home with children of all ages as long as we are properly supervised. I have not had the opportunity to mingle with any cats since being here, so if you have one, please be sure that you do slow and proper introductions. Please remember that when you take me home, I will need time to adjust to my surroundings and new family so please be patient with me.
