This handsome guy is Presley, a 2yo Doberman mix, and he’s in need of a fresh start.He escaped death row at the shelter in Modesto at the request of his first foster, only to have her become another human to fail him. She failed to follow our guidelines, allow him decompression time, or set boundaries, and as a result he became fearful and bit her. Despite public backlash and demands that we kill him immediately, we refused to give up on this boy and placed him in an intensive board and train program. His trainer says he is a good dog who would do best in a home with experienced dog owners and without kids or cats. He is potty trained, leash trained, and crate trained. He could settle into a routine with someone who works out of the home, or with people more present in the home. We are offering four training sessions with Timeless K9 as part of his adoption to be sure he is set up for success! Presley is a good boy who is eager to please, but his history and the humans who failed him have continued to follow him, taking every opportunity to talk negatively about him to anyone interested in giving him a chance.
