Introducing Dane, the perfect family dog ready to bring joy and love into your home! Dane is a 9 month old 28lb pointer mix who is ready to be your best friend! He's a medium to low energy dog who just wants to sit with you on your couch or play with his stuffed animals. He's incredibly sweet and loves to snuggle. Dane does extremely well with other dogs. He would do well in a home with them or without them. He's extremely gentle as well, he takes treats very gently and doesn't get aggressive if you take anything away from him. He can take time to warm up to new people, but after a few hours you'll have a new shadow following you around everywhere. Dane would be best suited in a home willing to help him be less of a fraidy cat around new people and someone who is willing to work on some basic training with him. While he's a great dog, he can sometimes tug on the leash especially to go say hi to another dog. He has mastered sit, stay, and touch while with his foster. Dane is much smaller than he looks in pictures. He's almost completely house trained, just very occasional pee accidents. If you're looking for an incredibly sweet companion, who constantly gets complimented about how cute his is on walks, Dane is your guy! Give Dane the forever home he deserves!
