**VOLUNTEER FAVORITE**Meet Annie! She is a 5 yr old female German Shepherd mix that weighs 52lbs. She came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 7/17 as a stray. Annie is such a doll! Even tho when she came in she had an injury to her right shoulder it is healing quite nicely. This adorable girl has a smile on her face and a sparkle in her eye with everyone she meets. She will sit and lean into you for petting. A few times she even sat fully up on her two back feet to show me how much love she has to give. She has been overbred. Yet despite what she has been through it will not stop her from showing everyone she is ready to move on to have her own loving family. She walks great on a leash, knows the sit and paw command. She takes treats gently and didn't show any interest in the other dogs barking at her. We do always ask if there will be another dog in the home to please ask the shelter for a dog test. Annie has such a kind loving disposition. She hopes that her own loving family will come to the shelter and will meet her. She will be the best companion anyone would need. She deserves to have her own backyard that she can run and play in, but live inside where it is cool and comfortable and she would love to cuddle with her human companion or take long naps on her own puppy bed. She has such a big heart...Come meet her!!
