Algernon is looking for his forever home. He is a spry brown mouse that is easy to handle and willing to make friends, just not female friends thank you very much. Algernon will need a mouse house with plenty of room to explore, and we expect potential adopters to have said mouse house fully prepared before adopting. For inquires about Algernon, please reach out to the shelter or come say hi Tuesday-Thursday 1pm-5pm or Saturday-Sunday 12pm-5pm.Adoption processAdoption fees vary based on species and age. A table of the different adoption fees can be found at http://www.whitmanpets.org/adopt/ For adopter's that rent: We require a lease and verbal Landlord approval prior to adoption. All adopters must fill out an adoption questionnaire. Once filled out, adopters will sit down with an adoption counselor to have an adoption consultation/conversation. Once approved, animals typically can go home same day. All adoptions are done on first come, first serve, first approved basis. Adopters must be 18 years and older.Shelter locationAnimals are available to view Monday - Wednesday, Friday & Saturdays, 1-6pm. (Closed Thursdays and Sundays). Adoptions times are 1-5:30pm during business hours.
