Cordova is an approximately 1 year old domestic shorthair who was brought into our care at the beginning of January 2024 after being dumped at our facility's front gate.She arrived very malnourished and sick with a upper respiratory infection. She spent the rest of January on medication to clear her illness and got a lot of food to get some weight on her! At the beginning of February, she was cleared for adoption and started the search for her forever home! Cordova is a VERY shy girl and takes a while to adjust to new people and environments. She will need someone who is understanding of a slower introduction process as to not stress her out by rushing her into a new situation. Once she gets comfortable, she is a very sweet girl who LOVES head scratches and the best part about her is she frequently does her little "derp face" and sticks her tongue out and looks the cutest doing it! She hasn't opened up too much to staff just yet but we are still trying to work on her social skills as we are not sure if she had ever had previous experience with people.
