Duchess loved her squeaky toy kingdom but longed for more. One day, while playing fetch, she chased her ball into a magical portal and found herself in our world, in a shelter. She quickly became a favorite, with her love for baths and her gentle nature. Duchess is waiting for a family to share her magical stories with, to fill their lives with her playful spirit and sweetness. Adopt Duchess and let the magic of her love fill your home.Long walks or fenced in back yard is always the best environment for dogs, but exercise is the main goal. We can test our dogs with other dogs at the shelter, but not every dog may get along with your dog this is why if you do have a pet at home we strongly suggest meet and greets before adopting. When adopting an animal at the shelter please know the responsibility of an animal. Most of the animals at the shelter have come in as a stray which mean they may not know how to sit or stay. They also might not have manners such as not to jump. Adopting takes patience. Please research the dog breed you are interested in and remember it takes time.
