Bugs Bunny and her 6 litter mates came to Wags and Whiskers after their previous owners had an "accident litter" with their German Shorthaired Pointer (Bugs' mom) and a neighbor's uncontained male dog. We received the call, asking for our help in taking on the pups, and we agreed. Bugs Bunny and her siblings have all been altered and had all of their vaccines, and are now on the hunt or their forever homes. All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners.
