Meet Catherine, a 2-month-old female Shepherd mix.This litter of puppies arrived at the adoption center after they were left on the side of the road. Sadly their mom and two siblings were hit and killed before they were picked up. These babies are understandably shy. They do best when given plenty of cuddles and may enjoy homes with K9 companionship. Please remember that Catherine is a puppy and puppy behavior comes with the package. They need basic training and potty training along with being provided chew toys to encourage proper chewing habits. All puppies require socializing from a young age to help them become the best, most well-rounded dog they can be.This pet is available for adoption on 2/24/24 at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-XXXX.If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known.
