Meet Jason, a 3-year-old male Pit Bull mix.Jason was brought to the adoption center after being found at a Yakima gas station. Jason had several minor injuries to his face and was very thin. He is now looking great and gaining weight consistently. Jason is easy to please, he loves to get outside for walks and is all about treats. He even knows how to sit already!Please do your breed research before adopting a Terrier mix. They can be a bit stubborn at times and need lots of physical and mental stimulus to keep them happy. Terrier mixes can be strong-willed and need an equally determined person to keep them in line. Terriers are fun, athletic and smart. Many people have fallen in love with them over the years, but it is important to keep their breed needs in mind if you are considering adding one to your household.This pet is available for adoption on 3/25/24 at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-XXXX.If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known.
