She was saved from life at the end of a chain on a rainy December night. No food, no water, no shelter, and 20 lbs underweight. 6 months later she is warm, happy, and has gained her weight back! Shelby has blossomed into a gorgeous wonderful dog, very intelligent and intent on pleasing her “person”. Don’t be surprised though if she gets her feelings hurt if reprimanded; she’s the sensitive type!We would very much like Shelby to be welcomed into a new, loving family.An active home with a fenced yard would be optimal. Dog friendly with a meet and greet recommended, still learning about cats. Like most young GSD she requires regular exercise but sits nicely for lovin's. Very treat motivated making training easy. Her puppy side shines through when playing with her toys, little treasures she never had before. Shelby has come a long way but will need someone willing to continue teaching house etiquette and positive reinforcement of manners she has recently learned.
