Shelter notes:Willow is a sweet senior who wants nothing more than a soft place to land. This gentle girl really doesn’t belong in the shelter, where she’s been sitting for over a month, and she’s a bit shy to leave her kennel, but she loved spending time with the volunteers where she showed us that she knows how to sit, walks nicely on leash, and loves pets and attention. Willow tested well with Khan (male) and Winnie (female). She’s not super-interested in other dogs but seems to get along with them fine. Willow is listed as 8 years old, but we think she seems more “middle aged” than “senior” though. She may actually be a bit younger than 8. Willow still has plenty of energy to go for walks, but is well past the adolescent antics of the 2-3 year old dogs.
