Jack and his 4 Doxie friends came to Furkids when their owner had to move and could not take them along. Jack is a little shy and scared in the shelter, but he does get along with other dogs. Jack has early stage chronic valvular disease. He should be monitored with echocardiogram every 6 months and his exercise restricted. He has signs of pulmonary hypertension and is being treated with Sildenafil, which will likely be for life. Jack weighs 20lbs., and is approximately 9 years old (est. birthdate is 4/23/2014). Jack has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $175. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. Must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.
