Vector is around 8 months old, currently 70 lbs, and was rescued as a stray, following his foster dad home one day while on a morning run during the winter. While in their care, his foster family had DNA tested Vector, with results showing 70% rottweiler, 20% chow chow, 7% golden retriever, and the rest inconclusive/mutt. He is a very sweet dog with lots of energy! He loves to play and will sometimes "throw" a ball for himself to catch. He will also fetch a ball if it is rolled along the ground. He loves walks, too! He has had some obedience training already. Vector is a sociable dog and loves his foster family's grandkids. He gets along with the other dog in the household who he adores (a pyrenees/lab) and two dogs owned by family that visited (a dachshund and a cattle dog). He gets along well with most of the dogs he's met in training classes. Vector is a loyal, loving puppy and protective of his family. He's been affectionately dubbed "Vector the Protector" by his foster parents. He has many traits of the admirable rottie breed and would make the most wonderful companion to an active home. Just fill in the blanks and SEND. We commonly receive multiple applications for a single dog. Nevertheless, only one applicant will be invited to meet a dog on Saturday at Petsmart in Yorba Linda between noon and 3 pm OR on a mutually agreeable day, time and place during the week. All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, full sets of core vaccinations (rabies and 1 set of distemper/parvo for adults, 4 for puppies) and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc.
