Hey guys, my name is Bishop. I`m only nine months old and weigh 47 pounds. It should be expected that I`ll get a bit bigger before I`m all done growing. I`m here at the shelter through no fault of my own, my new people friend here are taking really good care of me, but this place can be a bit overwhelming. I`d love to find a forever home of my own to relax and have fun in. A person who doesn`t mind a little puppy energy, and wouldn`t mind training me and teaching me all the things I need to know would be ideal. I`m a super friendly guy, all I need is for someone to give me a chance. Pretty please? You won`t regret it. It`s unknown how I behave around cats, kids or dogs so a slow and proper introduction is the best way to set everyone up for success. It`s hard to meet new people and pets quickly after leaving the shelter. I might need some time in my new home to decompress and process my new surroundings before meeting the whole gang. That`s ok though because IACS offers a 14 day cuddle before you commit program to ensure I am the best fit for you and your home. We`ll have pleanty of time to get to know everyone! *Please apply on our website at indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet. *Click on the adoption application link, enter your information, and click submit. You can include multiple pets that you are interested in on one application. *Once you have submitted your adoption application, please visit the shelter to speak with one of our Adoption Counselors, who will assist you with meeting some of our animals. *We offer a Cuddle before you Commit program where you can foster an animal for 2 weeks, slowly introduce it to the rest of your animals and family, and then finalize your decision.
