My name is Daisy, and I am a young, crested guinea pig. I have a sad story. I came to the rescue pregnant. Within a few weeks, I struggled so much because I was not fed a proper diet when I was first pregnant. The pregnancy became too much and I lost the use of my back legs. It was decided by the vet that I should be induced because I also stopped eating. The babies were taking up so much room that I had no appetite and one was sitting on my spine, causing my back legs move. Unfortunately, I lost two of the babies right after birth and the third one within 24 hours. I became quite depressed. I went to a foster mom that was able to keep an eye on me since I became very sick after birth. I started to feel better and use my back legs again. Then I was introduced to Cookie, who had babies within a week of meeting her! The babies made me so happy! They followed me around everywhere! I was like a new piggie! So I am now bonded with the baby that looks just like me, and Cookie. We are a trio and cannot be separated. I never want to be separated from my friends and babies again.
