If you would like more information about Girl or are interested in adopting her, please send an email to XXXX@cfisd.net Girl is a beautiful, seemingly intelligent female Husky. She followed me home on my bike one day and wouldn’t leave our backyard. We decided to host her for a couple of days as it was the fourth of July and we wanted to make sure she had a safe place to stay during those days. Girl has gotten along with our oldest and youngest child and on a leash has appeared to be good with other dogs. She is house trained, knows commands such as sit and stay, and is a good trail companion on a leash. Unfortunately, we are not in a good position to permanently house a dog. We travel and work too much to be effective dog parents. Girl is well groomed, chipped (not registered), and appears to be in great health. By all accounts, the previous owner just did not want to be responsible for a dog any longer and abandoned her. This animal posted is not under the care, custody, or control of Friends For Life and shall at no time be considered the property of Friends For Life. Friends For Life makes no claims to have evaluated the behavior or medical status of the animal posted.
