URGENT NEED FOR A FOSTER OR ADOPTER FOR COBALT! This dog is blue from the north central shetler. he spent over ONE YEAR in the shelter. he was medically alerted and schedueld to die for losing weight and having tumors. At the last minutes someone stepped up to temporarily foster blue to save his life. he is getting the medical care he needs, but he needs a home! he is very friendly and playful. he likes other dogs. He is currently decompressing from being in the shelter and enjoying time on the couch, in a yard and his general freedom. But, this is only temporary! We need a home NOW! his tumors are getting removed on april 10, 2024. they are cancerous. While our vet is confident she can get clean margins, she is also sure they will come back again eventually. While he is only 6, he may not get a full long life. All the more reason why he needs a forever home NOW! We can continue to cover the medical if needed. This dog is sweet, kind, friendly and deserves to have the best of the rest of his life!##2011277##Adoption processWe offer a foster program as well where we hope all our fosters will foster fail. otherwise they help us with rehoming the petShelter locationWe hope to start having open houses at our facility. Most of the dogs at our sanctuary will stay for the rest of their life, but we do adopt out the "younger" (under 10) and anyone who wants a specific dog we have.
