Hi, my name is Gunnar! Before furball, I had a very rough upbringing - I was a ‘not my cat’, shot in the pelvis, miss treated, put through the wringer, and not loved. Furball has provided me with love and so much more. I love my life now. I adore being petted and being around people that love me. You can pick me up and give me tons of smooches. I love the delicious soup they make me here and I am great with other cats. I have great litter box habits. I am considered a special needs cat as I will have to be on stool softeners for the rest of my life because of the way my pelvis is shaped after being shot - I also walk differently than a typical cat. But I am super cute!! Once you come meet me, you will love me. I can’t wait to find my perfect family. Come meet me between 1-5pm to see if I would be a good match for your family! I am fully vetted: neutered, FIV&FeLV negative, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. We welcome you to visit our sanctuary to snuggle with our furballs. You may even end up going home with one...or two!!! Adoption fees vary from $50.00 to 150.00. You always need to remember our cats come with baggage. Lots of them were treated badly by people and it has taken time for them to trust us. They may need to come out of their shells once you adopt them. You need to give them time to see you are not going to hurt them. We love our Furballs and want good homes for all of them. Please remember it is all about the cats for us. We only adopt out our Furballs to people within 2-3 hours of our sanctuary because of the baggage they come with. This does not include some of the cats in foster care (contact their foster parents for more information).Shelter locationOur visiting hours are from 1-5pm every day.
