We're devastated to have to rehome our beloved 12 year old Jack Russell terrier mix, Lillian. We've had our sweet pup since she was just months old. She is an affectionate girl with an adventurous spirit. She loves to cuddle and play, and she is fully devoted to her people. She has given us years of love and companionship, and I like to think we've returned that to her in spades. However, our hand is forced to rehome her at this time. Lillian has a naturally high prey drive, and extensive training and medication have not reasonably managed to curb her behavior or discourage her interest in roughly playing with our infant daughter. Lillian will require a highly experienced and loving adopter. She is highly anxious and reactive toward children and other animals. For this reason, Lillian requires a loving home without any young children or other pets. She has also had surgery for IVDD and requires medication (trazodone) to mitigate her energy level to prevent further spinal damage.
