Whats up? I'm Leonardo! Now I know what you're thinking... WOW this guy is WAYYY cuter than all the other Leonardo's, and its true I am handsome and I know it. I was found wandering around Philly, going on an adventure when I was brought to ACCT. During my adventure through the city though my finders noted that I was friendly with their cats and horses. I was a bit unsure when I came into the shelter, but I'm settling in a bit better now. I enjoy snacks and getting pets when I'm outside with my staff and volunteer friends. I also enjoy going on walks and exploring the outdoors. I've had a good dog meet, but can be a bit awkward at times o I would prefer a slow intro and calm dog companion (or a single pet home) in my future home. Looking for a fun and loyal man? Come meet me today! Per volunteer 8/5: "All of the notes on Leonardo's walk sheet said he is calm and easy going and I agree! He was a breeze to walk on the leash. He knows sit, takes treats gently and likes hot dogs! Unfortunately, I think he was starting to get a little bit of a doggie cold, and he was the sweetest boy just wanting cuddles just like a person when they don't feel well. Head to ACCT if you are interested in meeting this handsome fella, he would love a family to call his own!" Per volunteer: "Took out leonardo today for the first time and he sure does love people and is a real ladies man ! We were on the track and he had no inclination to run at all when 2 nice young ladies ran by us and boy , out of the blue , he started running to catch up with them and sure enough he caught up with them and ran right along side them around the track , looking up at them as we went . Eventually he got about 10 yards ahead of them and then he stopped running . I thought he was tired but it was only to let his 2 new friends catch up with him and when they did he'd run again with a big smile on his face ! This kept repeating for a couple of times , running along side the girls for a while , then getting a bit ahead of them, then stopping to let them catch up and then running by their side again. After a mile I felt the heat was maybe a little much so I left the track. Leonardo def was disappointed to say goodbye to his new girl friends . He;s def a very friendly boy!"
