No out of state applicants, please. Energy level: Medium Crate Trained: 100% crate trained and will go right when asked. It's her safe space. Potty trained: 10/10 never had an accident. Amazing if taken out regularly and/or schedule. Kids: Really great with them. Super gentle. Still learning not all stuffies are hers 😆. Spent a day at a birthday party with over 15 kids in a yard and was so great at being gentle and dropping the ball when they asked. Also plays with 3 year old niece and has always been great with her, but doesn't realize her size and has knocked her over once when running up to her (just a light bump). Been around ages 2-12 and did great with all but would probably be best with 4 and up just because of her size. Dogs: She previously lived with a male and did well. We think if introduced properly, she would be happy with a male playmate. Training: knows sit, down, shake. Has an excellent stay and wait for food. Knows place about 65-75% of the time but will forget herself if she gets too excited or there's a lot going on. Super smart and incredibly treat motivated. Shes not picky with treats at all and will glady do some training using her kibble. Leash skills: great on loose leash. Listens to "wait and "slow" if she gets too excited. Sits at the intersections or stop signs when her foster mom stops. Passes by people, runners, kids etc with no problem and usually looks at her foster mom when passing them. The few times she pulls is mainly for bunnies (her kryptonite). She will also sometimes pull when there are other dogs across the street, but never barks at them and usually only pulls if we're passing right next to another dog. That being said, If she is too overstimulated (tons of dogs, new neighborhood, etc) she has a harder time focusing. It’s a work in progress. Sleeping: Sometimes she'll sleep on her bed on the floor next to my bed, sometimes she'll sleep in bed with her foster, if invited. Sometimes she'll choose her crate. If she jumps on her foster’s bed without being invited, she gets told "off", and that’s when she'll get insane zoomies which are hilarious to watch at 11 at night when confined to just the bedroom. Its a process of running to the door, hopping on the bed, and zooming into her crate nearly knocking into the back of it. Regardless, she sleeps wonderfully anywhere you would like but if she's on the bed with you, she often flops her face right onto your face and has quite nearly suffocated me once or twice with her thick neck. Love language = giving you a stuffy. Seriously, she will always greet you with a stuffed animal. Excited? Stuffed animal, Walk? Stuffed animal, Greeting you at the door? Stuffed animal. Her foster’s favorite: stuffed animal shoved at you while you're trying to peacefully shower. Little lazy gal will literally sometimes just slide off the couch when she's tired. She lets her legs sploot on the couch while arms are on the floor until she eventually plops onto the ground like a slinky. Super entertaining to watch. Bonus: Has this enormous amount of extra chub under her chin (lots of fun to play with 😊).
