Hi, my name is Maverick! I am a happy boy that is so thankful for a new chance at a furever home. I was adopted out as a puppy, but returned through no fault of my own. I wasn't in a place to be able to be my best self, but I am looking forward to sharing it with you. I'm a good boy looking for a good home. I’m a 5 1/2 yo black lab mix. My foster mom has 2 little dogs & I get along with them. I had cats at my last home & we coexisted without problem. I just want to play fetch & get belly rubs. I prefer daily walks but playing with you in our yard would be great too. I know some commands: sit, down & kennel. We are working on leave it. I’ll do best with a quiet family with older kids. I tend to get a little nervous when I first meet people but after the first pet or a treat, I’m your friend for life. My adoption fee is $200 locally in Houston, TX or $550 out of state (included health certificate and travel fee). I am up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped.
