Sugar, spice, and everything nice, Buttercup is the sweet and sassy sister of her trio, the Powerpuff Girls! Like her namesake, coming into the rescue, Buttercup was definitely the "spice" out of sugar, spice and everything nice, but during her time in care, she has grown into a sweet, gentle, and loving companion, who loves to be wrapped in her blankey and held like a baby. She loves head and neck scratches and will happily fall asleep in your arms. Buttercup is a quiet and low key kitten, who loves nothing more than running around with her bonded sister, Bubbles, and snuggling up in bed with her! She LOVES to play, and has quite the adventurous little spirit. She loves batting around all of her toys and especially loves playing with a wand toy with her people! She is on the quieter side when she meets someone new, but with Bubbles by her side, she can be quite brave and will quickly show her lap cat side. Buttercup had her eye removed due to a puncture wound from living on the streets. She navigates very well, compensates for her vision loss with her great hearing, and needs no special environmental accomodations made. She functions just like any other kitten and is able to run, jump, and navigate her environment perfectly. Buttercup must be adopted to a home with her sister, Bubbles. While absolutely not a requirement for adoption, they would love to be adopted with their foster brother, Pancake as well! Buttercup would do best in a home without dogs. She does well with all other cats and would happily make friends with your resident kitties at home. She is always playing caretaker to the other kitties, making sure they are kept clean and well taken care of. She lets everyone eat before her and is all love with her buddies. She would prefer a more quiet home environment, though given time she could adjust to a more loud environment as well.
