Beautiful Apollo is the sweetest 2yr old boy. He is very affectionate and friendly with anyone that comes to his home. He’s great with kids, too, but he’s a big 75lbs and he’s silly, so he may knock over little ones. It’s best if kids are over 12yrs old. He is a bit of a submissive boy so he must have a calm, gentle tempered home. He’s originally from a very rural area so he’s not fond of going for walks because he does get scared, so a home or acreage where he can stay and just play on the property would be ideal. Although with patience, consistency, and an experienced shepherd person, he can learn that walking and hiking are fun activities. When he’s outside and hears something amiss, he will bark a few times to let you know to come and investigate to make sure all is well. Otherwise, he’s very quiet. When Apollo was a puppy, he was attacked and injured by larger dogs so now he is suspicious of other dogs. He must be the only dog in the home, and no kitties please.
